THE BEACONWORLD DGPS SECTION:

In this section you will find information and links about DGPS Beacons, which are becoming an increasingly popular DX target by many NDB and LF enthusiasts.

You will find details about a number of useful programmes for DGPS monitoring, including my own personal DGPS database, which is included here for the benefit of anyone who might like a copy, and also a number of links, which will take you to websites giving lots of additionally useful information as well. DGPS Stations of the World DGPS BEACONS OF THE WORLD v5.2 - SORTED BY FREQUENCY ORDER (.pdf version):
This 16 page printable .pdf version of the database currently contains a list of known DGPS beacons, but sorted only by frequency order. This new edition now contains a QSL Addresses section edition (my thanks to Patrick Robic of Austria), and was last revised on the 26th of June 2008 - 134.0kb)

Setting up the Double DGPS configuration DOUBLE DGPS SET-UP PROCEDURE:
This new file gives a step by step guide to how to set your Skysweeper programme up for "Double DGPS" operation (two windows - one with 100bps, one with 200bps). (689.0kb)
DSCdecoder DGPSTN File DSCDECODER DGPSSTN FILE:
This is a copy of my DSCdecoder DGPSSTN file, and covers all of the European beacons, and a number of the East Coast North American DGPS Beacons. This can be pasted into the DSCdecoder programme file in place of the original, and will show many of the stations listed in my World DGPS Master Database, which can be downloaded from this page (updated 23rd February 2007).
DSCdecoder DGPSTN File VINCENT'S DSCDECODER DGPSSTN FILE:
This is a copy of Vincent Lecler's DSCdecoder DGPSSTN file, and covers many of the World's beacons. This version also has the Grid Square included as well (updated 23rd February 2007).

DSCdecoder 3.8 DSC DECODER - DECODING SOFTWARE: - This comprehensive decoding software, produced by COAA, the creators of the popular 'Shipplotter' and Planeplotter' software, now includes the ability to decode DGPS signals as well as DSC and Navtex. This will run on any suitable Pentium level PC running Win95/98/Me/2k/XP, and with a compatible soundcard, and comes at a very reasonable price for the registered version of just 25 Euros. You can download a 21 day demo version from their site, and this will give you the chance to try out this mode, and see if you like it - just follow this link to the download page.
MultiMode MULTIMODE: - This program will decode numerous data modes, inlcuding DGPS, but is designed especially for Mac users, and is produced by Black Cat Systems.
MultiPSK MULTIPSK HAM DECODING SOFTWARE: - This excellent 'freeware' program by Patrick, F6CTE, covers many popular Amateur modes, and from version 4.9 onwards will also decode DGPS signals as well (you'll find it in the Professional Modes section).
Radio Raft 3.21 RADIO RAFT - VERSION 3.21 DECODING SOFTWARE: - A DOS based data decoding programme by François Guillet F6FLT, this decodes many different modes such as ACARS, SITOR, ARQ, CW, Packet, PACTOR etc. but more importantly, it also decodes DGPS Beacon signals!
SkySweeper SKYSWEEPER DECODING SOFTWARE: - A multi mode data decoding programme by Skysweep Technology, this sophisticated decoder programme will decode a wide variety of different modes, including DGPS, but unlike RadioRaft, it will run in a Windows Environment.
